Asus ROG Xonar Phoebus Power

This card uses 1x 6pin power connector,

My GPU uses 2x 8pin connectors but I have a 6pin connector also running off the same power cables. So can I connect one to the Phoebus or will have to connect another 6 pin cable to the PSU and use that?

I'd try and keep the sound card and the graphics card as separate (electronically) as possible to try and avoid EMI so I would use a separate cable.

You could have course just try it and see if it works - it's not going to damage anything if that's what you're worried about.

Id definitely try to keep them separate if you can.

The Phoebus Xonar does have some problems with microphone buzzing, people are thinking that its to do with the fact that it has a power connector but no-one is actually sure.

If you can't keep them separate then the power draw for the card is extremely low so I'm sure it'll be ok
