Asus Router

I'm going to purchase a new router, I'm a bit confused regarding these Asus models. Asus DSL-AC56U

and the Asus RT-AC56U.

They appear to be the same, does anyone know if there is a differance and could I put dd-wrt on either of them

Without even looking at the specs, I'm guess the one starting with DSL has a modem built into it whereas the RT one doesn't.

DD-wrt can only be applied to the RT version of the router. DSL version doesn't have custom firmware support.
