Hi all,

I bought this router from the recommendations on the forum. It's using a Virgin Superhub as the modem. Unfortunately it seems to be patchy with network devices. For example, the USB hard drive attached to it will sometimes not be picked up by my Macbook Pro. Or, it won't pickup the Apple TV on the network for AirPlay.

The Apple TV has also experienced random connection problems. Sometimes it'll stream great, others it will be buffering for ages. The network can get 60Mb so that's not the issue.

Any suggestions? It's running the latest firmware. The issues are seen on both 5GHz and 2.4GHz wireless.

Cheers

That don't sound right, i just sold one of these i used with superhub in modem mode and a usb hard drive attached and it never missed a beat nor did i have any bother with any of the computers/consoles in the house, i would say the router is broke or the problem lies else were.

Do you have the same issues with the Superhub?

No. The PS3 wouldnt stream (limited bandwidth) on the internal network though, which is a common problem with the Superhubs. Hence why I splashed out £80 on one of these. This seems to be causing me more issues than the Superhub!

Sorry to hijack but since I've used this router and stopped using my VM super hub as a router my apple devices such as iPhone/iPad no longer find my HP printer yet it works fine if I turn my super hub back on and stop using this? Any ideas?
