ASUS RT-N56U VPN server config help

I've just put the custom firmware on the RT-N56U and I'm trying to get VPN working using the following guide:

http://code.google.com/p/rt-n56u/wiki/BuiltInVpnServer

I've got the required users in the /etc/storage/chap-secrets file, and I have allocated local IP's that are not in the DHCP pool yet I cannot get my MBP or iPhone to connect to the VPN server (when using 3G and not wifi).

Any pointers?

What does http://www.canyouseeme.org about port 1723?

Nothing in the log files.

Seems that port is shutdown.

Sorted it, PPTP pass-through was still enabled.
