Anyone know when this router will become available in the UK or if it's as good as the specs suggest?

I have seen this. But that's almost a year ago and the product still isn't stocked by retailers so I can only assume it's erroneous. There were many press releases towards the end of 2011 (which suggests it's forthcoming) but none mention a firm release date hence why I'm asking on here.

Thanks. I've seen the thread but not the videos. I can't understand why it's been released in sweeden but not the uk. I guess the uk release date isn't a long way off and i'll just have to hold on for more news. My router is on its last legs and I've been looking for a new one for about a year. This the first I've seen that ticks all the right boxes, I hope it doesn't disappoint.

I did come across one site that was selling it but it was still pre order and the price was £148 you could still order it but it would take about 10 days to get it they said, so it will no doubt be February like other sites are announcing.

I have found one site that claims to have it in stock. The picture is wrong but the part number is correct. I've emailed them to confirm if it's defiantly what I'm after. Still £143, but that seems the going rate from what it costs in other countries. I can see it getting cheaper after a few months but I can't wait, my current setup is driving me nuts :(

I know that you can get issues with many new products that come on the market but I just thought it was worth mentioning.

The company have replied saying they don't have it in stock and they have no due date either :(
 
Chinese new year now so no distributors are getting an allocation until week after next, I'd take a stab at WC 9/2
 
Finally found a retailer with this on pre-order and a firm delivery date. Expected to be shipped on the 1st Feb and arrive next day.

£140 though :(

Was supposed to have my rt-n66u today. Emailed the company it was on pre-order with and Asus have delayed the release by a month :mad: :(
 
Apparently the UK delay is down to a problem with the English language UI. I was told by the company I have it on pre-order with (large online retailer) it would be ready by the 1st March but I got the feeling this was a complete guess.

It's since disappeared from their website and most other UK based sites. I think it will be at least another month before we have any available for purchase and even then stocks will be very limited.

It really is putting me off buying one. The whole operation sounds like a shambles.

Not bad for me I guess, having VM installed on the 1st so it'll give me enough time to fully test out how terrible the super hub is :D
