Asus RTX2070 Strix OC overclocking.

Hi every one.
Today I managed to get a couple of hours to play with the Asus Strix RTX2070 OC I bought. The software bundle included Asus's GPU Tweak II, I've done a bit of low end overclocking of various I7's over the years but never touched GFX cards. There's not much online specifically for the RTX2070 as a reference point but from what little I could find I've managed to get the gpu boost clock speed from 1815 to 1935mhz and Memory clock from 14002 to 14806mhz. I didn't adjust any voltages simply the two mentioned values and the power target. Max recorded temp was 68c but this was only 2 consecutive runs.

I just happend to still have the FFXV benchmark tool installed so used this running at 1080p (I dont have a 4k display as of yet) but comes up with a fairly good result. Has any one else had a go at overclocking a RTX2070? Is it worth pursuing this a bit more? I'm quite happy with the card out of the box It's mainly a curiosity at this point.

Why on earth would you pay £650 for a 2070 is the bigger question.

People really have lost their marbles when it comes to buying GPU's today.

Well I guess I paid £650 because that's how much that particular model costs. I've come from a 2GB GTX960 Strix OC and just wanted to embrace something new. There is no doubt better deals to be had, more bang for for your buck and so on but that could be said about anything. The wife and I do quite well so £650 isn't a massive issue, also these days I don't have that research time I used to put in before choosing. If you knew me personally the bigger question would be over how much I've spent on Ham radio equipment this year.

@bru I didn't take a snapshot of the result I got from the stock settings but it scored 9601 which is 194 points bellow the average Titan Xp. After sleeping on it I think I'll just abandon the pursuit of overclocking any further. Out of the box it plays the latest games I have on full detail so no real need to I guess.
