Hi all,

Need some advice please.

I am investigating replacing on my basket a 6750 XT by a 6700 XT.

So I have a simple question, if these 6700 XT had the same price which one would you go?
Asus has a little more on Core clock but perhaps not so significant? I'm trying to find out about the construction quality, brand, temperatures... or it doesn't matter and both are good?

And if you add the £40 less variable on the Asus? I have a friend who wants to sell his gpu to buy a more expensive one, it only has 2 months of use.
Would be £360 from his Asus vs the £400 from the Sapphire here.

For price comparison makes sense, and the 3 year warranty is a good point though.
But at the end, does it make any real difference the brand? Just saw this video below, guy was comparing six 6700 XT (the Asus was not there with this model), and basically the guy was saying 1 or 2 more fps difference between them so choose the ones you are more comfortable and cheaper. Perhaps what I am trying to understand is if Asus makes good and reliable GPUs.

It depends on the model, Asus are a bit hit and miss, but all the major brands make duds occasionally. Sapphire is recommended partly because they make very few bad cards (and rarely cheap out on the coolers). With the pulse models, they usually prioritise silence over temperatures. I suspect the reason that it's hard to find reviews for the Dual is that it was released much later (I don't remember a Dual model on release). £360 used, versus £400 for the Sapphire brand new is a no-brainer for me.

If you want to save money, you could get the 6700 non-XT.

Yes ASUS in general make good and reliable AMD GPU's.

I've never had a bad Sapphire AMD card (running a Sapphire 6700XT Nitro at the moment and it's awesome, cool quiet and really good build quality), or Powercolour for that matter. It's generally accepted that they're 1 and 1A for AMD. Although recently XFX have produced some awesome AMD cards. The Nitro's and Red Devils respectively are always fantastic.

Out of those two i'd take the Sapphire.
