Just got my code emailed to me and followed the instructions in the email and keep getting an error message that the code is invalid. I have tried multiple browsers, copy and pasting the code and typing it out, with and without dashes and its still showing as invalid.

The email from Asus says contact us through email if you have any problems and the email they provide bounces back as an unknown email address :rolleyes:.

Anyone else had this? What would be the best way of contacting Asus? On their site it seems to just be for technical help regarding the hardware.

Good luck - same happened to me on 3 games with a x399 board. Chased Asus, rog and the retailer and got nowhere!

Thanks, I kinda thought it looked a bit dodgy from the start. The website they sent me to initiate the process went nowhere and I had to navigate through the site to find it, which took forever as it was hidden away. Then spent forever entering all the details and even had to take a picture of the box. Now I get a code that doesn't work and try to contact them and their support email bounces back.

I miss the days you just got a disc in the box :(.

I just contacted Activision chat, which appears to have been a waste of time as well. He said the code activated and based on Asus's promotion I should get the Activision code within 20 days. But this was supposed to be the Activision code that can take 20 days

How to redeem your Activision Code:

Visit www.callofduty.com/bundle to redeem your code

Create or log into a Call of Duty account and link your Battle.net account

Enter your Activision code into the form and submit

You will be prompted to authenticate for Battle.net, which will grant Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 standard edition

A success message will be displayed to confirm the process is complete

I then asked so will the game be in my Battle.net account within 20 days then and he said he has no further information and I could be emailed the code. I'm pretty sure the code he thinks I'll be emailed is the code I already have that is invalid. Ahh well, I guess I'll just have to write it off. I'm surprised I can't find any hits about this after googling, there must be loads of people taking part in this promotion, so I would have thought this issue would be pretty common, unless I have just been unlucky.

I guess I'll just have to wait 20 days now then go from there. The Activision guy was actually helpful unlike Asus that seem to make it as hard as possible to contact them. I am a bit gutted as the BR mode does look fun, but with no single player campaign i'll not pay £50 for it, so hope i do get it.

I'll sign up to the forum ready for if nothing happens after 20 days. I have also signed up to the Asus forum as well. The last date for activating the game is 10th Jan, so there is still some time to hopefully sort it out yet.

I hope you manage to get it sorted, a disc with accompanying CD key would indeed be preferable in these circumstances. I've been fortunate in that the only issue I've had with free games is a copy of Splinter Cell: Blacklist I received with a GTX 780. The code was recognised without issue by uPlay but every time I downloaded the game the install was corrupted. I tried multiple times across 2 PC's but couldn't get a stable install.
