Hi there can I say first say hello to the Forum been a few years since I have posted . I have just recently like a few day's ago upgraded from Strix 960 4 gig to Strix 970 All bought from OCUK by the way...Due mainly to me playing more Dayz and Arma and wanted a more smoother gaming experience which is what I have been getting >>>> But !!! I am getting lower FPS on the 970 compared to the 960 which by the way was overclocked . So I set about yesterday and today doing a very moderate Overclock say GPU 100 offset Mem 200 offset PT 110 and Temps 80 using Gaming Mode as the base settings on GPU Tweak (not V2) I hate it . Been bench tested and Im getting worse FPS and Scores on Valley than the default settings ( My power supply 750 Gold I use to get way better FPS on the 960 ...Have I got a dud card here or am I missing something I'm absolutely gob smacked and ..The over thing was when I opened the box and the card was not sealed like there normally are I just wondering if I should contact OCUK as I had read so much about the 970 it is hitting all Overclocking but I'm getting worse performance even at 1403 I'm lost need Help ... Kind regards Jon

Thank you for the reply murah
That's my next step ... I'm wondering if there is something throttling the card as I have no problem Overclocking it .... but to get less performance instead of more I have never come across this before .

UPDATE !!!!
Right decided to spend few hrs today to tackle this ..OMG do I feel like an IDIOT but Ill share it's Xmas
OK first thing was I decided to turn my Power Target to 120 instead of 110 giving the overclocking more head room
Second thing I realized my bench marking using Valley I was OC while running it and did not close it down and restart it
every time and the ding dong I was running it in a small window mode not SYSTEM full screen .... After doing so I can now
see the better Score and FPS after every OC
What a Plonker I feel I was getting so f"£$king stressed >>>> Lesson learned
