most likely. look for full screen/splash screen on start up (or similarly worded) may need switched back to 'on' or indeed fastboot, turn that off if it's on.Setting in the bios?
Have you connected any tvs to your PC as well? I have this, initially bootup is on the TV and then goes to the monitor that I have set as default, but for some reason the HDMi is default at boot so shows on TV.

hmm strange, unfortunately i'm not knowledgeable on the asus bios to know what else to check but i'm sure someone else will be along with more ideas.No. It is turned off
