ASUS TUF 7900 xtx running very hot hot spot is 110 after about 5 min of use and shuts down some time aswell

AMD Ryzen 7600x
32GB 6000MHZ ram

i ring overclockers in the morning i should be able to rma it it only 3 months old

unless its in an airtight box it shouldnt hit those temps after 5 mins, its defective

That case puts the GPU in an unusual orientation doesn't it? Though, I think the TUF uses heat pipes rather than a vapor chamber.

Yea it vertical cables up but at most it would be 2-3c still should not be getting 110c
