I wanted a cheapish PSU to replace an unbranded one in my web browsing PC

Pentium Gold G6405
Z490 Motherboard (B grade)
Quadro P400

found this Asus TUF bronze 450w PSU with 6 year warranty for 37.99 inc saturday delivery

waiting to for the scorn of @pastymuncher

I can't condemn it as there are no reviews and very little information about these units. No solid evidence of the oem but it is possibly Great Wall so has the potential to be decentish. The caps appear to be 105 degree Teapo's, while they are not the best should be ok at this price range. The normal price seems to be £50+ so the price you found it for seems to be a bargain. Asus and TUF branding usually means overpriced hype train but for that price a psu with a fancy 135mm double ball bearing fan, 105 degree caps and a 6 year warranty seems to be a steal. You can be the forum Guinea pig and let us know what it's like!! :D

I have to admit I bought a brand new psu for just over £35 a couple of months ago. It was a SFF OEM Seasonic SSP-300SFB (bronze rated) which even has a fanless mode up to 30% load and also came with a adaptor plate. The cables are horrible but it's a decent little psu with a good weight and only has to power my wifes AMD Ryzen 4300GE system which pulls less than 90w. It freed up a lot of space (previously had a atx psu) so that her cpu cooler can breathe freely now. That was the cheapest psu I have ever bought!!

The PSU is installed, decent packaging, came with both EU and UK Power lead and some velcro wraps. there were also a sheet of replacement decals with the TUF logos that could be added to the PSU, although 99% pc cases you wouldnt see these.

had some certificate about capacitor and choke tests...
