Just got this today, all went together as expected until i try to boot the pc. Power lights come on, RGB light up, GPU fans spin up, but im getting a solid yellow light at the top of the board, which according to the book is a boot issue. Ive stripped everything out again and rebuilt it all once more, still same issue. Tried different hard drives, have noting else plugged in, it just refuses to boot. Anyone else had this issue or have any idea what to try next? Im at a loss now to whats causing it.

Take out the cmos battery that mite help, also did you get the latest bios for it?
I like the look for that board as I'm thinking of going X299 or Z370 not made my mind up yet.

Tried that, cant get to bios at all, wont even boot that far, basically turns the lights on, spins he card fans, then stops straight away. Talking a 2 second boot cycle.

Twice mate. Ram in every slot, one stick, then the other. Near sure its a board issue, ordered a new one should be here Monday, ill try the cpu and ram in it, but my money is on the board.Theres two power sockets, one 8 and one 4, says you can use both or just the 8. When both are plugged in the board is completely dead. The 8 causes it to boot as described above. That alone makes me think theres an issue on the board itself.

Right so, moving it along, got a new board, this one has separate LED to indicate errors. DRAM lit, same boot problem as above, tried same as above. Getting it on both sticks, no matter what slot. So the board wont power on with both cpu power intakes, and the RAM is causing a non boot on the new board. Think the lot will have to come back folks.

Board and RAM faults, both RMA. CPU and borrowed RAM booted up in the new board first time, tried RAM in the new board (Gigabyte UD4) DRAM fault led straight on and wouldnt boot.
