Asus U3S6 Question

I would also be interested in this i have the asus p5Q PRO TURBO.
I saw on another forum that someone else was using it but the speeds seem a lot lower than what it should be

Excuse a little thread necro...
Just bought one of these for myself.
I've tested it on a few boards for compatibility, but not for speed.
Asus P5K-VM installed in the PCI-E 4x slot. Worked perfectly.
Asus P5K Premium worked perfectly in the 2nd x16 slot (x4 mode)
Msi G31TM-P35 worked perfectly in the PCI-E 16x slot.
MSI P35 NEO2-FR had some strange issues...
The card would not be recognised at all unless the onboard Marvel controller (IDE + 1 Sata 300 port) was enabled. If the onboard controller was disabled while the U3S6 was plugged in it would not be recognised even if the onboard Marvel was turned on again.
The only way to get it to be recognised again was to swap the GPU and the U3S6 temporarily.
As far as performance is concerned the U3S6 seems it is a PCI-E Gen2 card from the specs of the PLX chip installed

So any PCI-E port that is not Gen2 will reduce it's performance to a max of 1000MB/s.
so the 2 Sata 6 ports would bottle neck the bandwidth with out using the USB3 ports too.
