Have had no luck finding a UK release/retailer sale date/price as of yet.

The spec and design for what equates to around £550 when converted from USD (no doubt we will be paying £600+ mind you!) is rather tasty - reviews have lavished praise on it.

Anyone else interested in this lappy?

Kind of, I'm more interested in the updated 13" with possible ulv core i7 and or 14" version with built in optical

I've been since the rumors started. The jt (culv i7) is very nice, It's got all the overclocking and switchable graphics automated.

I am hoping they are not releasing the vt because the jt is around the corner, and would be presented worldwide sometimes in May/June.

I can only hope...
