ASUS upgradable Graphics Cards

Is it just me, or is that cooler (second pic) actually taken from the water cooled version of the tripple gpu 3850 that asus produced which is ofc different to the first pic.

Combine ATi + Nvidia to make a hybrid GPU? surely I'm mistaken.. does it mean Fill all the slots with Nvidia MXM's with no ATi's?
