I'm looking for a portable laptop with a bit of power to it, mainly for Unity3D and light Photoshop/Lightroom work, and the Asus UX32 caught my eye: http://zenbook.asus.com/zenbook/?c=prime_ux32

Does anyone have one? The reviews seems decent and it seems to be easily upgradable with new SSD and more RAM. But I can't seem to find it stocked anywhere in the UK? I'm guessing forum rules mean you can't recommend anywhere but anyone know why? Or there any similar alternatives?

I'm actually waiting for the UX31A; neither that nor the UX32A/VD have been released in the UK so far - those are all the latest "Prime" Zenbooks though. That may be why you can't find any in stock at present, release of the Primes is supposedly imminent.

I got mine sent from the states, arrived within 3 days of ordering, great bit of kit. Fast and light, fits in a very small sleeve! You do get looks in the security line at the airport D) only problem getting from the states is if you get taxed, I never did.

Don't you also end up with an American keyboard e.g. a long, single row ENTER key rather than the double-row version of lesser width?
