Asus V7-P8H77E or Something else?

I'm looking for a new desktop system to replace a laptop.

This will be a .NET/SQL development machine.

I don't want any hard drives or DVD drives in the machine. will be using one or two SSD drives only.

Space is not a big issue, but at the same time I don't want a massive tower filled with nothing.

Might want a graphics card in future, but don't really game so happy with Intel HD 4000.

I found the ASUS V7 barebones which seems fine.

Is everything in my basket OK?

Are you looking to overclock?

If you do then you will need a Z77 board.

Might do so it would be wise to ignore the barebones option, I found this Gigabyte Z77 board: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-395-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2261

But stuck on finding a slim case.

swap to a Z77 chipset to overclock or drop the K variant of the chip to save your self a few quid
