spent about 4 days fiddling with this and think i've got it very close to my beloved but recently dead nec, vertical red blocks.
so all those "splendid" modes are pretty much gamma levels apart from theater mode which is that and a plus blue setting. which does look nice in forza but like everything other than standard mode comes with blown whites.
standard mode.
brightness 0. yes zero.
contrast 50-60 (dark room) 60-100 (bright room) need brighter go to srgb.
color temp User Mode R52 G50 B58. (for my eyes this monitor is strong in green)
smart view OFF.
TraceFree 0. not seeing any ghosting? no idea what it does?
Eco Mode OFF. (makes it 3Xbrighter lol)
anyways, a lovely monitor which will need you to make that "X" barely visible in win7 calibration, and set your console to expanded, full mode.
