Lovely screen, looks very nice.
No dead pixels here
Good connectivity options
Very bright out of box, still trying to find the perfect settings for me. Will be posting in forums asking for other users settings.

BF: BC2 looks great, really good as does every other game I've tried (Warhammer 40k, Deus Ex HR, WoW) :)

In built speakers are not very good they're tinny and light, I didn't expect them to be so not a prob for me just be aware.

All the buttons are on the bottom right of the screen, navigating the menus, submenu's and making changes using the 4 buttons is a bit of a faff. There are 4 buttons that you'll use for changing the settings, they're spaced in such that changing settings is a a pain, you cant put a finger on each, navigate, make changes and exit settings without having to remove your hand find the button to exit submenu, menu etc. A minor issue and once you've got your screen setup the way you like it you prob wont touch the settings.

I got the screen for £258 delivered with £4 cashback so the deal on at moment with Overclockers is very good.

Let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks

absolutely wonderful screen, i too came from an lg flatron 22inch. colours are so rich and lifelike and the picture is sharp, i believe it has some kind of trace funtion to combat any kind of ghosting. called trace free.

Yup set it to a value of 40.

Thank you guys , To let u know I purchased this monitor 2 days ago and dont regret a thing . Got it for £240 which was great and belive I made right decision above others in that price bracket like the Hanns G 28 inch .
Fiddeling with the controls is a bit of a kerfuffle but ill happy sacrafice that above screen quality with is everything .
Prehaps speakers are not the best , but come in handy if say using Xbox , Freeing up you pc speakers for your music .
Have given the flatron over to me daughters pc and feel bad because the image quality and brightness is strikingly different , creating a dilemma to get a 22inch version for her .
Its deffinately in a league of its own at that price bracket . If your thinking about a monitor of this size then really this one is a no brainer !

I also bought this with the recent TWO deal. Delivered today but haven't had much of a chance to play around with it. Out of the box impressions: It's very bright, especially when coming from an old monitor, you'd be surprised. No noticeable ghosting or input lag from a quick 10 minute test play of Warhammer 40k: space marine (this was with the recommended "trace fee" setting of 40.)

One of the most interesting features which doesn't seem to be that well advertised, or at least I didn't see it until I looked on the Asus site, is "picture in picture", where it will show one of your inputs as a smaller window on top of another input. I've only had the monitor for one day but I've already found this useful for satisfying the girlfriend on skype, while sneaking in some marvel vs capcom on my xbox.

got this today, very bright and very colorful! beautiful screen.

was waiting out for the 27" iiyama which is on pre order.. happy i went with this games look so vibrant and there is no lag.

1080p on a 27" is not perfect for pc use tho unless you distance yourself abit as edges are not as crisp as they are on 24" or bellow screens.

my 720p rips look crisp, viewing angles are not great, if you are bellow the screen they are pretty bad.. left right and above is ok tho.

Picture in Picture doesn't seem to work across all inputs when i was using my Xbox over hdmi i was only able to select Display Port and VGA not DVI which was plugged into my pc.
