Selecting 120Hz and the image is all screwed up, I have the dual link cable connected that came with the monitor, anyone got a clue as to what the problem is?

Have you ensured the cable is connected to a dual link connector on the graphics card?

If you don't know then which graphics card are you using?

How is the image all screwed up?

The only thing I can think of is a faulty cable or that the monior is trying to display the desktop in 3D.

Are there any settings on the monitor or the Nvidia Control Panel for 3D?

Thinking it must be the cable as well, lowest res I can run without a distorted image is 1280x1024@120hz, anything above is screwed up, I'll purchase another cable today and try it tomorrow.

Update, bought a new dual link cable and it's just the same when in 120Hz. Pic below of screen at 120hz.

So faulty monitor, software???

My 27" Hazro came with a faulty DVI cable, it didn't look exactly like that as it had mad banding and a 16bit colour look to it but the stripy effect was the same as that.

Striping is just the camera, it's not on the image. I'm thinking faulty monitor/connector, that's two new dual link cables with the same results.

that looks pretty ****** up lol

anyway try turning off the monitor(power button on monitor)
then removing the monitors power cord
then removing your dvi cable
then putting the monitor back on using the power button (to discharge any remaining power in it)
then plugging your dvi cable back in
then plug your monitors power cable back in

see if that helps and make sure to do it in that order
