So I'm still deciding between the Asus VN247H 60hz monitor, and the Asus VG248QE monitor.
I will be having a dual monitor setup on a dual monitor mount...
I have a GTX 970 so can run both these monitors, obviously GPU not the best for 144hz but can still run it.
I have found a feel of the Asus VG248QE (144hz) for £190 very cheap brand new.
Asus VN247H (60hz) around £140. Yes the 144hz is an amazing deal!
Why am I undecided... Simply because the look of the monitors you guys may be thinking I'm stupid at thinking this but I care about the way my setup looks and I am a Console and PC gamer. So one of these monitors may be switched between PC second screen and Console screen.
The VN model is very sleek and matte finished but does have a black border on the screen around it that can be seen if looking for it... But again it looks awesome on a multi monitor setup because if it's thin bezels and sleek design.
The VG model is the better spec monitor but I don't like the look as much because the thick bezel and gloss finish but I guess I could get over the glos finish... and it's the only 144hz monitor I like the look of that I can afford anyway...
Would anyone that owns this monitor be able to post a picture of there monitor showing the edge of the physical screen area so I can see the black area around the screen?
Has anyone got two or three of these monitors side by side so I can see how they look in the light with the thicker bezel?
Also any information on these monitors is appreciated to help me make up my mind... And maybe tips, Do know that people say my GPU will run both these monitors fine at 144hz my GPU - gigabyte windforce 3x gtx970 4Gb
