So i am in the market for a new gaming monitor, my Dell S2716DG has developed this very annoying pulsing with brightness so needs replacing. I was going to go for the Asus PG278QE when i read the spec of the Asus VG27AQ which impresses at that price point.
Any input would be appreciated.

I just bought one of these today as there was a crazy 20% off deal in my local store (non-UK, sorry) for £339... no idea why but I wasn't going to complain so went and nabbed one immediately.

It's a decent screen but not spectacular in terms of black levels or uniformity, though certainly not terrible. I do have a bit of bleed at the top left of the panel and will see how much it annoys me to see if I will go exchange it or not. It's also quite tricky to calibrate well... a touch too bright at minimum brightness. I tried adding the TFTcentral .icc profile but I am not even sure if it's properly applied, or maybe my intial setup was reasonably accurate.

Still, I am nitpicking here as for the money nothing touches it and I now have this ASUS and a 28" 4k 60hz Freesync (Samsung U28R55, lovely IPS panel which I did a review on here https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...28r55-28-4k-ips-hdr10-60hz-freesync.18893141/) screen in a dual monitor setup to give me the best of both worlds when I get my 3080 later this year. :)

If anyone has this monitor and can tell me their settings that would be good to compare. I have:

Mode = Racing
Brightness = 0
Contrast = 100
R = 96
G = 98
B = 100

Everything else set to default. :)
