Not sure if this is the correct section or not so if not could someone kindly move it.
I've just bought this monitor for my racing rig and play with either my series X plugged in or my laptop.
I've started playing more on my laptop and thought id test out the on screen FPS counter.
sits at 144 on the desktop but every time I open up a game it jumps back down to 60. and in all the in game menus it is set to 60hz with all other options greyed out. My laptop is capable of 240hz so i know it is not that, and the monitor 144hz.
The only fix i have found is that when plugged in via HDMI its set to show both screens but when i change it to show screen 2 only (monitor) it works and i get all options. Is this just the way it should be done?
