Athlon 64 3200 AM2
160 gig SATA
I built this PC yesterday and have had freezing probs from the go. The system will freeze at the XP logon screen or 10 secs orso into windows desktop. Thing is the mouse pointer still operates and the buttons change colour when you click (although they do not open/close anything).
I have updated the bios which supposedly increases memory compatibility. CPU/MOBO temps hover around 30-35.
Have i got the correct memory for this system? Memory is the only thing i can think that might be causing the problem.
When i am running in safe mode there are no lockups!
Can someone offer some advise.
