Does anyone know if there's any real difference between the Asus M3A78-EM and the Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H?

I've looked and I can't see anything significant. Both 780G chipsets and similar specs. Only difference seems to be the price. Then again there's the ASRock A780GM-LE 780G, which is cheaper still (thought that's to be expected from ASRock, I guess).

Any reason I shouldn't save £10 or so by going for the Asus over the Gigabyte for a HTPC? Or even save a bit more by going for the ASRock?

Well, that's good to know. Any indication why it's better though? I know Asus have a fairly decent reputation for reliability, but then so do Gigabyte. Are there any differences between the feature-sets of the boards that make the Asus better?

Anything to worry about regarding the BIOS and temp problems reported with its brother board, the M3A78-EMH?

Basically, I like the fact that it's £10 or more cheaper, but I'm a bit suspicious of why it's so much cheaper, and I have heard of one or two problems with the EMH since I posted this.

Would really appreciate any specific information.

Cheers.
