ASUS vs MSI

Hi All,

I currently have an MSI B550 Tomahawk, however it has some coil whine coming from the VRM's at low load which is very unusual.

I have to RMA it but I could be without a board for over a month.

Would you recommend I get another MSI or ASUS board in the meantime.

I am considering either B550 chipset.

Wondering whether to try the ASUS B550-E Gaming motherboard.

What's your opinions on ASUS vs MSI.

I'm not saying one is better than the other, but for motherboards after trying others I always use Asus and the boards have all be very good, it's been a good few years since I tried other brands, but I always had problems with them and always ended swapping them out for Asus boards. For any other parts I'll consider any make

Couple of reasons, XMP RAM issues with Msi and Dragon Center which is a joke. I also preferred overclocking with ASUS Bios, seemed more logical.
The ASUS Z490 Hero XII was out of my budget for last build, but regret not getting it now.
