Hi all, I just picked up the above monitor but after connecting it all up, it only recommends 1080p within Windows and the same in Nvidia control panel. The only thing I can imagine that's causing this is the cable/adapter I'm using. The inputs for the monitor are 2x HDMI and 1x VGA, but the GTX970 only has display port or mini HDMI. I'm running a DP to HDMI adapter with the new HDMI cable included with said monitor. I've tried forcing the res to 2560x1440 but it just goes to a black screen with a flickering bar at the top. I assume the adapter is the problem - what cable would be best to get for this?
