Is it just me or is the ASUS website the worst in the world????

I cant believe how slow it is... You are really lucky if you get more than 10k a second... There is no difference if you go to the UK site or the global ones either... The mirrors for drivers are also laughable...

Why do i bother???... lol!

it is one of the hardest mobo websites to get to ive found, i get random errors unless i search "asus" on google then click the link there.

Its slow most of the time unfortunately. I guess being the world's largest motherboard manufacturer and making many other product types can have its downsides...

Well intel do not have the same problem.. lol... Saying they are too busy or the site is overcrowded should never come into it...

None of the Taiwanese firms have good\fast sites though.

yeah you are probably right. That said the Clevo site used to be dog slow but now is rapid.

I have noticed the ASUS site to be rather unstable, but fast when its up :confused:

page to choose my country!

For a big company like Asus its pathetic when it takes 3+ hours to download 80mb drivers.

Its been down most of the day as I have been waiting to download the latest BIOS for my board - got it now mind.

Its always been a pain for me when trying to access it. As has Gigabytes site, though theirs is slightly better.

I find it very hard to access things on the Asus site too. Takes awhile but probably just because of the load. I have suggested to Asus they find a better and faster solution because it's a pain but just my opinion won't count. I suggest you guys acctually send an email to complain about the speed issues and maybe they will eventually switch over to better servers and faster lines.

Getting to the right place can be a bit of a pain on the asus site, and its been like that for several years

I lost the drivers cd for my mum;s laptop once, took me just over 5 hours to get 4 drivers totalling about 112mb if that.

Apart from that though i have found asus's build quality to be superior than that on its rivals. I have washed the laptop by accident and dropped it off of a motorbike and its still sound lol.

Anyway the web site is the only thing to let them down.
