hiya guys

My Asus P5k Premium P35 board comes with software called AI.
This, I think, lets you overclock the system from windows.

I can't get it to install on my PC though for some reason.

Has anyone used this? is it worth it?

Cheers

As an old-school overclocker I'd have to say: use BIOS only, never Windows tools. The main problem with Windows overclocking is that it's perfectly possible to dial in settings which are perfectly stable once running, but which are too aggressive to actually let Windows boot.

There's also a tendency to go too far, too quickly, meaning that you have no idea what has gone wrong when it all goes pear.

Do it properly and use the bios to overclock. Asus AI suite sucks big time. Come to that, so does PC Probe and just about every other piece of software they chuck out.
