Asus X399 Prime QCode 96

Hi all, hopefully someone has encountered this before and can advise!

PC will not boot this morning, and is boot is stopping at QCode 96 - which according to the manual is "PCI Bus Assign Resources" nothing is displayed to the screen at any point. All power connectors are properly seated, and so is the memory etc.

Reseating graphics card has not helped, and I've tried a different graphics card as well (an ancient ATI 6670!) with the same result.

Spec is:
Threadripper 1950X
Asus X399-A Prime
8 x 8GB Corsair LPX 2800
Zotac 1070ti mini
RM1000x PSU
+ Loads of assorted nvme ssds


Any ideas? Or is this dead mobo and or CPU time???!!!

Phew - I've managed to get it to boot by removing my NVME drives.

I suspect either 1 of the 4 drives is knackered, or the Asus Hyper M2 x16 card has failed, or something squonky with the motherboard.

That's 500GB games drive and 750GB Raid array lost

Got backups thankfully - but lacking anywhere I might restore them to until I figure out what's gone pop!
