Ok, I've had a new system the past few months, and for all the tea in china I cant seem to get the RAM to run @ 3600. The RAM is "Patriot Viper Steel 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C17 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit (PVS416G360C7K)" from this very site. and when in the BIOS I set the DOCP to the XMP settings its fine. But when I look in Ryzen Master or CPU-Z to see what the Memory clock is running at it shows 1067(Mhz).

What have I done wrong, is the Ram ruining at its rated speed via the XMP profile, or as I think have i missed something. ???

My hunch would be the software isn't reading the memory speed correctly, have you downloaded and installed the latest chipset drivers? You'll also need to make sure you're using the latest versions of CPUz and RyzenMaster.

You could also run some benchmarks to confirm you're getting results in the expected ballpark, Aida64 has some useful memory benchmarking and I beleive Cinebench results will also be off if your memory isn't running at the correct speed so that would be an indication if something was off.

Give those a go and report back :)

/Edit: Hardware wise double check you have the DIMMS in the correct slots if you are running a pair, if so just try one DIMM at a time to see if this shows at the right speed in Windows.

/Edit: Single DIMM goes in the slot furthest from the CPU (A2), dual DIMMS go in second (B2) and last slots (A2) away from the CPU so from the CPU - Empty - DIMM - Empty - DIMM.

OK, So Cinebench shows the CPU score to be slightly better than the same CPU (Ryzen 5 3600x) by a few points, however AIDA64 show my memory running @ 2133 with a 1064.7 clock, despite the XMP setting being set in the BIOS.
