Asus X850XT worth using Arctic Silencer?

As title. I'm not happy with the stock cooler because:

1 It's a bit loud even when controlling the fan through AtiTool
2 My temps seems a bit high - it flatlines at 75c under heavy load. Others seem to get significantly lower temps
3 superfly's post has got me thinking that my 555/600 (gpu/mem) is a bit of a pansy overclock that could be improved with better cooling

Thoughts please!

btw I saw that someone was saying that you had to modify the fan wire terminator from the Arctic to plug it into the card ??

I had one on my Sapphire X850XT

It was easy to fit, you did not need to modify anything, I doubt the ASUS has a different design?

If I were you, i'd check the MM, there is probably one for sale there...
