All,

I have a Asus X99 deluxe with a 5930k and 64GB Corsair Plat 2666 ram, AX860 PSU. When I apply an overclock (memory XMP 2666 & CPU 4.3Ghz) the system doesn't boot first time (bd) but if I press the power button straight away (2 more times) it does boot. Almost like it needs "warming up". When I overclocked I didn't apply any voltage increase - is this missing or is it something else?

When I remove the overclocks it boots every single time without fail.

I believe I'm on the latest version of BIOS (1901) but will double check.

full specs in case it's relevant - X99 Deluxe, 5930k, 64GB Corsair Plat 266 ram, Titan X, water pump (custom loop), Aquaero 6 XT - 8 fans, 8 x SSD's (on LSI raid controller), M2 card, USB 3.1 card, AX860

get it to boot up, then restart and go in to the bios - look at what the CPU core voltage is setting itself to, if you've not changed it at all it should be well south of 1.3v, whatever it is add or 0.01v on the Advanced AI tweaker page (e.g. if it is at 1.26v set it to 1.27v), if that doesn't work add another 0.01v up to 1.3v

you should be able to do 4.4-4.5ghz on 1.3v

The voltage was at 1.28, I've dialled back the overclock to 4.1 and I'll give it a test later and then play with the overclock properly when I have a bit more time.

Bios 2001 seems to have resolved these issues. 4.3GHz with 1.248v with stable reboots / restarts
