hi all- I assume this thread would go here and not storage
never had any ssd of any description - but looking to
this board has a m2 socket on it
and an adaptor to fit nvme to the pci express slots?
do I need to look out for any issues when buying nvme, win 10, transferring my boot drive?
any suggestions welcome and I was looking at 2tb nvme!

the m2 socket on the board is more or less in front of a 120mm fan on the cpu heatsink so should have some air over it
ps CPU is i7- 5930k

not really just pick a decent brand and one thats PCIE rather than SATA M.2, something like the below. I would re-install windows, the m.2 drive will show in the bios, you may want to unplug your old sata drive first. since windows has already been activated on this board it will just activate without a key.

If your going for 2TB, i would also partition the drive when windows installs, something between 240gb and 500gb
