Hello,
A few days ago I bought Asus x99e ws motherboard. Unfortunately without drives:/ yes I can download drivers from Asus Support website but from where I can download ISO with drivers? Another question. If I want install on my x99 128gb ddr4 I need 2x quad channel or I can use 4x dual channel Ram?

Your better using quad channel kits as they will be a matched set. Is it the Asus x99E-WS with or without usb 3.1?

As for the driver cd iso you won't get one to download unless someone has uploaded one. Not something I have seen on the Asus site. Tbh your better off downloading them, like many others on here will probably agree the drivers on the cd can be months out of date. Better off downloading them and making your own iso file..

The latest drivers are always going to be the ones on the Asus website. I don't bother with the supplied cd's for this reason and don't believe any iso files containing the files is officially provided.

If you want to fill all eight ddr sockets go for two matched, quality four dimm sets and be prepared to run the memory will relatively relaxed timings and speeds as eight dimms will tax the memory controller somewhat. I would not buy four matched pairs as they will be less suited to successfully running eight up on a board.

Ideally buy a matched set of eight dimms not yet widely available but they do exist....
