Hi Guys,

Just got this monitor today, generally really impressed with it bar one dead pixel so I'm getting it swapped out as it's almost central to the screen. Barely any IPS glow (coming from a DELL TN panel) that I can see and the out of the box settings seem fairly good. There are barely any reviews as of yet and I've read conflicting issues around using the ELMB Sync mode, what are peoples general thoughts on this? Turning it on almost halves the brightness but I've read about overshoot issues. Using the monitor in racing mode (best out of the box settings which is pre-calibrated supposedly) currently so hoping other owners can share their best settings! Running it at 170hz at the moment but again others saying to drop it to 165hz so it would be interesting to see what is best, I believe overclocking to 170hz can result in flickering.

Any questions just ask and I'll try and answer them as best I can!

Thanks mate, glad to see another owner present. I'm also using racing mode but the brightness defaults to 50 which is fairly bright, also got mine set to 165hz due to issues I'd read as well with overclocking to 170hz. Have you got a pic of your IPS glow? Mine isn't as good as I first thought but I'm getting a replacement panel at some point when more stock arrives, the colours do look very good though. I've heard the glow can settle down after a few weeks of use? Any truth in that?

This was mine last night but I'll see how it goes over the next week. Not sure how long my replacement will take but mainly got that due to the stuck red pixel, but the glow is bad bottom right corner for me. One review I read on another site suggested it improved after a week when it looked quite bad so we will see. Yours looks fairly good really. It's always going to be an issue with IPS. Genuinely happy with the monitor though, colours look great and I'm playing better on Modern Warfare so must be good! :D

Quick question, should vsync be on in nvidia control panel or off when using gsync? Seem to be mixed reports on if it's best on or off!
