i would like some more help please also got a ASUS xonar d2x pci-express
audio card i did not put the driver of the disk its for vista i download the
driver for windows 7 64 bit go to install the driver the bar goes right to the
end hangs up did that for about 20 mins just stop there i put card in a small
pci-e slot on the motherboard its a white on i don,t if thats the right one
thats all i have.

I also got a ASUS xonar d2x pci-express
audio card.

I did not use the driver on the disk as it's for vista, I download the
driver for windows 7 64 bit from the ASUS website.

I go to install the driver and the progress bar goes right to the
end, where it hangs up. It does that for about 20 mins and just stops there.

I put the card in a small pci-e slot on the motherboard its a White one, I don't know if thats the right one for it to be in?


Made it a bit more readable.
 
My D2 works like a charm...

As a side point, I actually found the W7 drivers to be more unstable than the Vista ones, so I use the Vista drivers xD

Running W7 Pro 64 Bit...

i run windows 7 home premium 64-bit i download the vista 64-bit when i go
to install it i get this window come up windows cannot find :( users\ djellis\
desktop\win7\setup.exe so how did you manage to get your vista driver in
under your win7 pro can you help can,t get running at the moment.

did what you said downloaded the top driver unrared it then double click
the setup came with that window with the same message sorry about this
what do you think.

got this card from overclockers i will just send it back to them alread put
my creative X-FI gamer back in no problem i just wonted to try a diffent make
of sound card always had creative wonted try some thing diffent this card got
good refiews so got this one going to send it back i would like to thank you for trying to get going for me.
