Asus Xonar DGX: What setting do you use in games?

Hi all,

There are loads of setting on this sound card, I have some stereo headphones and need to know what are decent settings to get the best positional audio in games. Specifically BF3.

Please can you share your settings with me?

easy. In game set as HiFi and use no onboard effects. Also do NOT turn enhanced stereo on as it messes up positional.

I should have titled it for games rather than "in" games, it's the settings on the card itself I'm unsure about.

Do you have Dolby headphone on?

Not for gaming. Default EQ and 8 channels and ramp up the sample rate unless it starts sounding bad.

I use Dolby headphone with my 555s in bf3 audio positioning is fine as long as u choose hifi in bf3 settings!
