Asus Xonar dx - background noise

I have a constant buzz/hum coming from my speakers. They are logitech x-530 wired through a Trust headset junction box. I have just turned the volume on the x-530 down and while its as loud as I would ever need it, I can't hear the humming. Any ideas? My first thought was that its not grounded properly.

Turn off smart volume, It's works fine for me untill I plug my PS3 into it, Then I get the buzz/hum

Its ridiculous with smart volume on, but can be made inaudible with volume at lower levels.

something turned on in the recording section of the mixer?

try to plug your speaker directly to your soundcard instead of the junction box and see if the hums dissapear.

Yep, try connecting directly. Also can you try using optical?
