Asus Xonar DX

Does anyone have one of these? If so can anyone confirm if it's loud? You see my X-Fi died and I had to go back to onboard. I can't really tell the difference in the quality just that the onboard is far too quiet for my headphones.

So if anyone can confirm that one of these will be "propa loud" that would be great, thanks!

I guess its pretty loud. Mine isnt set at full volume but is quite a bit louder than the onboard sound (asus p5q mobo). I had an x-fi on another machine and to be honest i dont think it is any quieter/louder than the DX.

It drives my HD595's pretty damn well, seems very loud to me.

Some games are actually too loud, I have to turn down TF2 in the in-game options.

Brilliant SQ though, Dolby Headphone will blow you away.
