Hi , I have this card in my PC and would like to use it for sound to my TV rather than using the GFX card via hdmi.

Cant see a dedicated optical out on the card so is this possible ?
 
The Essence cards have a dual purpose RCA/phono socket that is grey colour. Can be used as RCA coaxial or mini toslink optical. The cards come with a mini toslink to standard toslink adaptor. If you no longer have that, you can buy one or use a mini toslink to standard toslink cable.

Must have mislaid my one years ago , totally forgot about that connector so thanks for reminding me ,will get one on order.
