Asus Xonar & PC randomly restarting

Hi guys

Ever since I changed from my creative card to an Asus Xonar DX 7.1 PCI-E my sound randonly just cuts out, then there is a click noise from the case and the pc restarts. Its really annoying, and when I send the error report it says driver problems.

I have the latest drivers so I cant see it being drivers.

Any ideas?

I have Win XP. I got the drivers from here:

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us (Audio cards, PCI-E, Xonar DX, then expand audio and select the bottom driver)

I selected version 5.12.8.17.38 at the bottom of the page for win xp. From what I can tell this is the latest driver, is that correct?

I'd defo run driver sweeper and select the Creative option to make sure it clears out all their rubbish drivers.
