worked fine last night, tried to start my PC this morning only for it to do nothing, the green pwr_led comes on but nothing happens when i try to start it up, have tried shorting the pins with a screwdriver to make sure the button wasn't the problem but nothing.

have removed the memory etc but still nothing, any advice before i RMA it?

thanks.

I take it the PSU doesn't start up either? Does its fan spin? Can you jump start the power supply using the paperclip method, does the PSU seem to start OK doing that (its fan will spin) ?

I'd have to look up the pin configuration myself as it's been a long time too!

But basically Yeh your just shorting the power supply to fool it into turning itself on to see if it powers on and spins its fan up.

I'm guessing you're motherboard has failed in some way, but it's worth testing the PSU to rule it out first.

bummer only had it since the new year too, ach well shall have to contact the OCUK guys tomorrow to get it RMA'd.

luckily it's the only box i kept lol

thanks your help/input matty.

It happens but ocuk are generally pretty good, so hopefully you shouldn't have to wait too long. Maybe raise a Web ticket with thier customer support to get things started.

Just had the same issue, I had to send it back to OC for replacement. They sent me a Email today that have RMA it to Asus. Funny thing is I had my board for a year too. could have been a bad batch of Mobo. Wondering how long I'll have to wait now
