Hi all.

So I am having a strange issue whereas when I cold boot my system. From the night before, not when I power down, drain the board and start up again. Oh and it always cycles 3 times then posts with the below message. At first I thought it was a memory problem but I have never had a single memory related message.

So basically I am getting the following messages:

"Please enter setup to recover BIOS settings.
After setting up Intel(R) Optane Memory or RAID configuration was built,
SATA Mode Selection must be changed to RAID mode to avoid unknown issues.
Press F1 to Run SETUP"

Edit: Nevermind Fixed it :p

Hi,

How did you fix this? I have same board and same post message.

Sorry for the late reply but LuckyBenski was right. New battery and not had a single issue since.
Bit unbelievable considering it was a brand new motherboard at the time...

I have this issue on my ASUS Prime Z270-A and I've replaced the CMOS Battery with a brand new one but it hasn't made difference and I'm still getting this error. Please help!

Thank you :)

Have you tried clearing CMOS properly since replacing the battery? Go full on unplug/no battery/short jumper pins.
