I hope i am on the right thread, if not i apologize, please remove post.

Has anyone ever had this problem with Asus Aura program? When i first installed it, it was working fine, but now every time i try to run it an error pops up saying "Aura Service is currently unavailable", although it's installed.

Motherboard is the Asus Z390-f with the latest bios installed.

I also thought it could be incompatibility with the Cooler master RGB controller that I have for my fans, tried uninstalling the program and Aura didn't work as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same motherboard (just upgraded yesterday) running the 1105 BIOS. I've tried everything I can think off including removing every single trace of it in my files and registry and I'm still having issues.

I'm talking this over with someone from the ASUS engineering department and I'll let you know if we get anything working. I have just disabled AURA in BIOS for the time being since I can't control it and sync it to the rest of my system.

I got an answer that works for me. I found that, during Windows installation (Win 10 x64 1903), if I set up Windows using my Microsoft account, I would get the error. However, on a fresh install with a local account I was able to install and run AURA without issue.

After I got it working I then re-connected with my Microsoft account and now everything is running normally again.

I hope this helps!

ive found in the past aura has given me issues with my z270f either id have to revert back to old aura version or wait and see if a new version would work for me. it was either the rear io would work or I couldnt use my rgb strip or it just would not open full stop.
