First of all I booted up the machine, too a BOOTMGRMISSING message,

I could then boot from my marvell SSD once in bios, noticed that
Bios had rearranged my boot order for some reason,
Tried a bios update, and when I rebooted:

no post, vga light on red!

I tried removing the gpu and boot off onboard, still red light on vga

I then tried with just one mem stick, vga light DIDNT come on, but mem did.

Next I tried just barebones and nothing, tried different drives nothing.

Tried jumpers and leaving out cmos battery for 6 hours+ still no joy!

So im assumimg my mobo is farked?, anyone else experienced this, could it be my psu?
So annoyed third item ive had to return this month.

Tia

connect you ssd to intel sata3 ports

try inserting gpu a few times and boot up,maybe its got stuck at gpu detection

blue slots for ram if you have two sticks

Thanks for the response, Ill try what u said tonight, ive got 4 but ill try the 2 in blueslots, although I think I tried that anyway. What will plugging it into 3gbs achieve, not doubting, just never heard of that solution before.

if you have sata3 drives then intel sata3 are the better ports, just to see if its halting boot ups ect,but vga light points to onboard/or add in graphic card problem/or detection

Had this happen with my last board asus p8z68-vpro gen3 VGA led solid red. I also tried everything and wouldn't work sent board in RMA and was found faulty.
After I done a lot of reading about this trying to fix it, most people where saying it might be corrupted vga bios. And it my be right When it happened to me The last thing I done was bios update, but after it finished I did manage to get back into windows were it the crashed and thats when vga led stays red.
