Hi guys, since I updated my motherboard bios for the microcode update, all of my options for setting the mulitplier manually are greyed out and I can't change it from "auto" - I'm running a 13900KF
its added new options for intel recomended, performance and extreme modes but messing around with those doesn't unlock the multiplier
does anyone else have an asus motherboard in the Z690-790 range who has updated for the intel microcode change have any idea on what the new sequence is for getting to set the multiplier for overclocking (all I really want to do is be able to set all cores to 5.8ghz as I know my chip is easily capable of this with low voltage)
I've also tried AI suite and intel XTU and making changes in them allows me to increase the single core multi but not the all core and it still downclocks to 5.5ghz as soon as I run anything even slightly taxing
all the guides show the old bios and setting it to manual to unlock but that menu option has either been removed or moved somewhere else - the manual hasn't been updated and Asus support just give me a link to the out of date manual and then don't reply when I try to follow up to say that info is out of date
