Hi guys.

I'm trying to overclock my system again and some features that used to be there have now disappeared!
My motherboard is a ASUS Z77 Sabertooth. Generally in the settings t hat used to be a setting called turbo mode which made overclocking fast and easy! It now isn't there! I have tried everything, bios flash ( new and old) resetting cmos, taking cpu out and back in again. I'm at a loss. Other people have had the same problems but they doesn't seem to be a solution.

Where do I go from here please? and how do I get around this so I can overclock my system please?

Kind regards

Are you sure your not thinking of the asus turbo v utility that is part of asus ai suite? This allows for a quick oc from within windows.

Hey thanks for your reply. No it was a setting in the BIOS which has strangely disappeared.

The Turbo V EVO doesn't seem to be letting me overclock either :S

Nice to see your sorted watling mate, but have you ever considered oc'ing just via the bios settings themselves, (ai tuner) You may find that you can achieve the same clock you desire with less voltage. Therefore you get cooler temps.

Hey bud, all today ive been researching how to overclock properly. So I put it into practice earlier today and it seems to be running really well at the moment. Got the speeds to 4.8 and its running stable so far. This was all through the BIOS so im quite happy I spent the time to read the overclocking threads here! :)

Thanks for your comment
