its a new build and all seems to have gone well, except every time i turn the computer on , i have to go in to bios and choose a hard drive to boot from. i have a ssd for my os (win 10 ) and a standard hdd for everything else. what do i need to do to sort this? in layman's terms please . many thanks.

Plug the SSD in to SATA port 0. It should be labelled on the board.

Really, it should boot regardless of port if it's the only drive with an OS on but it seems that's not the case for you. There is the other option of changing boot device priority in the bios. Have a poke around.

thanks for reply.
ive got 1-6 numbered sata ports. ssd in no,1 .hdd in no,2. i cant find an option to change boot order tho. there is no other os on the hdd either.
i have been having a poke but dont want to muck it up
cheers.
